7/20/03 The test was positive! The test was positive! After getting a faint positive on a home pregnancy test, I made an appointment at the doctor's office for a test there. Their test came back positive!! Looking at the calander, they said my due date was 3/21/04. I was really excited and I couldn't wait to tell Jim the news. On my way home, I stopped at Jim's work and called him out to my car. I was still in shock so I wasn't sure how I was going to tell him. I got out of the car when I saw him come out and as soon as he got to me, I looked him in the face and all I said was "the test was positive". He gave me a huge hug of course and I think we both started to tear up a little. We were so excited! He had to get back to work and I, of course, wanted to get home to call some friends. We didn't tell the family until we were almost three months along, just to be safe. But all were excited to hear the good news...
