We met sometime during the 1996-97 school year. We can't quite remember when because it was the first year of college and everything blended together by the end of the year. We lived in the same dorm, Territorial Hall, at the University of Minnesota. Jim lived first on the third floor then moved to the first floor sometime during the year. Karen lived up on forth floor (she stayed there all year). We left for the summer promising to keep in touch, which we did....
